the new field is going to be awsome. the field is a little rough. johnny is supposed to bring us up some dirt. we will have to go up and fill in some holes. it is about as rough as our other field. plenty of room to fly i did a couple knife edge circles with no problem. i am freakin excited about being able to fly close to my house.  Grin maybe i can learn some new stuff this year. i was doing rolling harriers with my yak and daves yak. Smiley i think the sim has helped me out a bunch.  Grin
Let me know if I can help in any way.
The sim is a great tool! I cant wait to see how its helped ya! This is gonna be the best season ever!

When getting tanked its important to make sure your pluming is in good working order... Cool

i gots a question fer ya. i see your running two clunks in your tank. are you running two feed lines to the carb or is one of them for fill up. i am goin to run a three line system also but i wasnt going to put two clunks. one was for vent, carb and fill. to me it looks like if you have a two clunk system they could get tangled up. just picking your brain to see why you set it up like that. thinking i might learn something. before i put my tank back together.

Yes I run 2 clunks. the longer one goes to the carburetor. The shorter one goes to the fill line. The only purpose to having a clunk on the fill line is to be able to completely de-fuel the plane at the end of the day.I have always set up all my tanks this way.To prevent them from tangling I push a 2'' piece of brass tubing into the line. The vent line is as high up in the tank as possible and routed around the back of the tank and out the bottom of the plane so fuel doesn't siphon out on down lines...you can loose allot of fuel if you don't run the line around the back of the tank.
