okay. what's the latest 411 on this?
Airtrade Raven? Krill Yak 55 with 3D wings? Krill Sukhoi 29? I think 3W stopped makin' airplanes or no one will import them into the US due to the high cost, so I guess I'll just need to make my 2 Yaks and 1 Votec last a long, long, long time  |

Yes... I'm thinking about a new plane... see?  Biased on the previous reviews, I guess the 3m Krill Katana is out of the mix of options for extreme3d/freestyle flying.....Are you still considering the CA 260 ? Or do you have some other composite planes in mind also? I like the watch vids of the best pilots flying the particular planes that I am interested in. I get a pretty good idea of how it flys and if it fits my style this way before i buy it. For me I like a plane with very minimal pitch/roll coupling ,light wing loading , slightly draggy, aggressive but not pitch on the tail surfaces.If I where to pick a composite plane my first choice would be the Comp arf regular 3m extra 330(hard to find a good used one anymore)  .....sencond more aggressive option would be the 3m 260. However on each I don't' like the ailerons not being centered on the hinge line and the minimal side area of the 260 would not allow for extremely slow high alpha KE and rollers would penetrate a little fast for my liking imo. I would have to buy one to fly it and see if my assumptions are accurate. I might be surprized....but I'm not going to put my dollar on it.Also my field is very rough and would surly rip the landing gear plate out of a compy. |

I just tried Stihl Ultra HP for 3 gallons in the ZDZ160j. 40:1. It still had smooth as silk throttle transition with the richer mix. The thing I like the most is this stuff just wipes off the plane dry with no oily residue. Its like wiping off dust with a dry rag...."sooo weird".
It flashes off at a lower temperature than Bell Ray and other synthetic oils decreasing carbon build up. So far i like it. |

I used to run the spectro when I Raced Motto cross back in the day. Good stuff.
I hear Stile Ultra HP mixed 40:1 is the new craze. It supposed to outperform Bellray h1r .  I am thinking about giving it a try. Any one have any experience with it? |
